We have found several ideas that are extremely successful at making this small room feel much larger and be more functional. Here are just a few of them:

Open Space Designs – Using an open design can help to open the space in the room. It will make your bathroom feel much larger and generally will be more comfortable. You won’t feel cramped in a space that is typically very limited.  This design works for either a small space; replace the tube with a shower and enclosed with glass.  For a large space like a master bathroom incorporate a standing tube, in addition to a walk-in shower; be sure to use glass to keep the space open.
